Dental X-ray Digital Sensor FAQ

Publish Date 2018-11-01
Q: There are lines on the screen, what should I do?

A: Not installing the calibration file can cause that problem. Cope this files and then paste to the software installed destination file. The default path is Disk C/ program files

Q: The picture is too white. How to do with it?

A: This problem is caused by low x-ray parameters. One solution is to take a new picture with higher x-ray parameters. Another solution is using our software. Fist, we equalize or normalize it, then adjust the bright and Contrast of the picture.

Q: I'd like to shall the patients' information between our operatories. Is this possible?

A: Yes. We have Network version that allow communicating the information in networked environments who have installed the software. In the software, you can find the database toolbar, left click it, you will see database, and then you can input Server IP and Service Port. Then left click OK, at last, restart the software. Then you can shall the information.

Q: I can't take an X-Ray image; it seems that my sensor isn't working. What should I do to fix this?

A: Before you capture an X-Ray Image for the first time, you'll want to ensure that the Sensor(s) have the appropriate Correction file installed on the system. These files are provided in the form of a CD, and are included with the Kit. To install the files, open the Imaging Sensor software. Select Autorun > install software. Follow the manual steps to install the software.

Q: Whether should I install driver for Imaging Sensor?

A: No, because our Imaging Sensor have build-in driver. Only you have to do is to install the software.

Q: Doesn't the Imaging Sensor software allow for Noise Reduction?

A: Yes. You can manually adjust a number of variables, including Noise. When in Imaging Sensor software, double click your image taken by sensor, then you will see several tabs specific to image quality, including DENOISE.

Q: I've been adjusting my settings on the X-Ray Unit, but aren't there some things I can do in the Imaging Sensor software to enhance or correct image quality?

A: Yes, there are. In fact, the Imaging Sensor software offers a large number of filters and image enhancing functions that will improve the overall image quality, enhance problem areas, correct contrast, etc. These features can make a significant difference. But we often recommend that users focus on obtaining a fundamentally "good" X-Ray by employing sound techniques and good practices. In other words, you should start by getting the best X-Ray image possible; after that, you can improve on an already good image.

Q: Will changing the EXPOSURE TIME on the X-Ray unit affect image quality?

A: Yes. Users should remember that different areas of the mouth may require exposure times to be adjusted. For example, Upper Teeth will normally require a longer exposure than lower teeth; Molars will also require a longer exposure time; Front teeth will require a shorter exposure. One of the rules of thumb is that generally, the farther back you go, the longer the exposure should be.

Q: Is Imaging Sensor software compatible with Windows 7?

A: Yes. Our software is compatible with window XP/ Vista/ 7. We have test it many times.

Q: Can I use intraoral sensor with Imaging Sensor software?

A: Yes. Imaging Sensor software will allow you to select image source from intraoral camera/reader, intraoral x-ray sensor, scanner( twain).
